Machine Operator (Cutter Operator)

Job Classification: Full-time

FLSA Status: Hourly – Second Shift (2:30 pm – 12:30pm)

The qualified associate would calibrate and operate a cutting machine, make necessary adjustments, change blades, quality checks and be able to troubleshoot minor machine issues. This associate must be able to read and follow a written job ticket to ensure the product produced meets all documented specifications. Keep an open line of communication with team members and the shift supervisor. Communicates updates to the Shift Supervisor or Leader.

Must know, understand and comply with all Company policies, procedures and safety requirements.

This associate will be working near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to a production environment daily. Noise level requires the wearing of hearing protection and steel toed shoes are also required.

Physical Requirements – This individual must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. routinely and on occasionally 50 lbs., stand for 7 hours per day, walk frequently, and have regular attendance on the job.

$12 to $15 an hour/ $.70 hour shift differential
